: I'm a new guy to model A's and finding out there is a lot to learn.I replaced my battery, new connector on negative side, and new cable on positive side to ground. My horn worked, lights worked, but when I stepped on the starter to start the motor - everything went dead after a short burst from the starter. Is there a fuse or some other relay that can turn off like this.

There may be a fuse but it most likly will be next to the starter switch. when new the battery positive connected directly to the frame. The negitive to the starter switch.
Then a wire goes from the connection of the battery at the starter to the generator and back the the terminal box.
Off hand it sounds like you may have a bad connection or starter. I suggest thatyou join the MARC or Mafca and find a member close to you.
