:A trick the old timers used to do was to cut off about an inch of the rear main drain tube. This way the oil drains faster because it's clear of the oil in the pan. Believe it or not, it helps a little.
Hey Bob, I was told by my engine man not to cut off the drain tube, because the slight amount of air pressure that builds up in the pan would blow the oil out the rear seal. Have you tried it both ways, and what were the results? Thanks, Parnell
