: Walt, welcome to the world of the Model A. I have two Model A's and a puppy and all three of them leave a little puddle every where they stop. The problem is there is no "rear seal" as such. There is a cork gasket that "seals" the rear of the pan and then there is the rear main which is itself a seal of sorts.
: How much oil do you leak? I leave a spot about the size of a silver dollar after driving for a while. Long drives don't seem to produce much more. If you are leaking much more than that you could possibly need the main bearings adjusted, or at least looked at. Join a club and you will find a member who does work on other peoples cars for not much money and has the tools and expertise. Every club has has a guy that is Model A smart, and some that are smart somethings else too for that matter. Better yet if you are able buy a book and do the reading then begin by degrees to do the work yourself. next thing you know you'll be like me with Model a parts all over the house. But by all means join a chapter of MAFCA. Best thing I ever did and I'm not a joiner.
