: For my right-hand-drive 1930 Town Sedan I have two headlamp shells with totally different scripts stamped on them, yet neither match any of the scripts shown in the article by Enrique J.Kleine & Marco Tahtaras reprinted in Volume4(pg88) of "How To Restore Your Model A". Both shells are definitely stainless steel & not the acorn type, so I assume the different scripts are possibly peculiar to Canadian production models. I intend to obtain a match for one of the shells in order to make them "identical twins", but should I worry about the correctness of the scripts as per the article?. : Thanks :DJ. D.J:I have a Canadian produced 30 Tudor with the stainless headlights.I have compared my script with the article you mentioned and it does not match any of them either.I have a feeling that Canadian headlights did have a Canadian manufacturing source and so may be different than the USA produced lights. |
