: I am confused about the color used on bumper clamps. The paint that I have is a darker blue than I see on other restored Model A Ford's. Their color approaches a sky blue color. Danbury Mint even shows that lighter blue on the bumper clamps on their scale model 1931 Roadster!

: I have the MFCA Model A Ford Paint & Finish Guide. If you look on the first page in the color chip section...you will see BUMPER CLAMP BLUE that I have.

: To be sure that I have the correct color...I went over to Gaslight Auto Parts in Urbana Ohio and asked to see the color of Bumper Clamp paint they were selling. They opened one of their small cans and BINGO! It is the same darker blue that is in the MAFCA publication and the same color that I have.

: Question: What is the correct blue to have on these bumper clamps!

Hi Kenny,
I used a can that John Holland had already mixed and it's dark Blue. I had the stick-on kind and found out the judges don't like them:-) BTW the stick-on kind were also dark Blue.
