Ken,
I agree if you are woried about judging use the color in the paint guide. The color should be very close to the color of the radiator shell emblem on the 1928-1930 cars.Ford would try to make things match. Paint matching is one of the hard things to do after 65 years.Also I believe that the original colors varied from batch to batch (plant to plant).
