I posted a similiar message to yours, here a couple of weeks ago, and got one response.Someone wrote back saying he would be more than willing to test out any recipes I could come up with.

The Milwaukee Chapter I belong to has done a couple of Manifold tours (if you want more info on otur, I will try to hunt down and send).Using a recipe we found in "The Restorer", we all came up with our own variations, with different degrees of success.

One member cooked a fish (skin and all, I don't do fish, so I can't tell you what type, roughly about 12" long) that the group went nuts over.Somebody else made a hamburger dish, but used the 90% fat free meat, which is a no no.Due to the lack of fat, the meat could not sizzle, and burnt instead.

We made a chicken, potatoe, corn, and green beans mixture. We sliced the meat up, to help aid in cooking, and left the vegies in a "as-is state. We then heavily "varnished" the mixture with butter, and triple-wrapped the meal with aluminumn foil.We secured this to the exhaust manifold with baling wire/coat hangers.

My dad, being the machinist type gue, fabricated a holder for his "meal-on-wheels".He took some heavy-duty screen wire, framed it with a stainless-steel band, and made a basket. This basket rides between the engine block and the heater manifold - no need for wire here.

If you need more info, let me know.If you get any info, or come up with some good ideas, let me know.
