Can I put warford on a 3 speed ? wheels & other wood

I am working on an early 28 closed cab flat bed and it has a 3 speed transmisson. I have a spare warford transmisson and I'am wondering if it will it fit the 3 speed gear box that is on it?
Are the wood spoke(artilery wheels) capable of 50-55mph speeds?
the flat deck and cab wood appear to be maple and my sources here say it should be oak I have to redo all the wood & i would like to know what to use?
the serial # starts with caa what does that mean?
