Distribuitor Bushings

Does anyone have a source for the original type bushings as used in the distribuitor? There seems to be two types on the repro market these days.Neither is as original. Some repros are shorter and are copper colored. These are shorter and are probably softer than originals.Other repros are the correct length but are silver colored. These have a higher nickel content and are harder.I know of one failure case where these newer bushings "galled" to the shaft even though they had been correctly reamed and were lubricated.A new type of drilled distribuitor shaft was installed before this failure. The original ones were of a yellow brass or bronze and may have had a lubricant impregnated in the bushing.Any sources for original bushings or comments of other failures with the repro silver colored bushings?
