Hi Ken;
the inside of the end of the drag link has a spring followed by a piece with the radius of the mating ball.the end nut has the same radius on it and is tightened until approximately flush with the end of the link.The cotter pin should go thru the holes in the link and the slot in the end nut.If your parts are severly worn, replacements are available.
