:Derry Suther, In regard to leaving your turn signals on -on my Model T I put a diode from each of the front turn light wires to a buzzer inside the car (Radio Shack). It gives a good warning reminder. Put a switch in series so that you can cut it off, such as when you have to drive with $ way flash going.

: I purchased and installed the unit sold by Bratton's with the extra wire and modified wiring for the cowl lights on my 30 coupe and they are working great.Walt Bratton had to replace the 6 volt bulb in the unit with a 12 volt to match my 12 volt system.Anyway, pretty easy to install with good directions.I modified my cowl lite reflectors to hold the plastic socket for the small orange modern turn signal bulbs and they are real visible. The only bad thing is remembering to turn off the signal switch after turning since the unit is not self-canceling.I forgot to turn them off the other day and a lady turned in front of me thinking I was turning. Just a near miss.
