Gas Tank Filler Screen Removal

| The books say that the original screen screwed in and that it can be removed with hammer and chisel, if necessary.I tore out the screen, but cannot get the supposedly screwed-in ring out.It looks as though it required a special four-pronged tool to install. True?In any case, the new screen won't fit through the opening. I am soaking it with WD40, and will try the hammer/chisel thing again, I suppose.Any better ideas? Thank you! |
