Brake lining

I'm preparing to do my first brake job on my '30 coupe. I have several questions and seek all the help I can get. Current woven linings on front appear ok except in two areas (one each wheel) where worn lining has exposed poorly seated rivits. All other parts look ok. Can lining be saved? Drums are scored, drum walls mike to .177 Can modern molded type linings be used? What kind of job I'm I looking at in pulling back drums? THANKS.... for any help.........Rich
