Fraser,
Would you provide more details on where you found ther serial number on your 1930 A. Originally the engine serial number was stamped on the top of the drivers side frame.All of the Model A cars produced in the U.S. had serial numbers that began with either an A or AA.Some Model A cars also had a number stamped into the body cross member or passenger side sub rail.These numbers are of interest to me as I am doing some research into their meaning.
