Sorry about the delay, Bruce, here is the break down of my
system.

First, I have a wire running from my Negative Terminal of the battery to a switch, so I can turn the power unit on and off (if you left the unit on, with the engine not running, you can drain the battery quite quickly). On the other side of the switch, I have the Red Wire from the converter attached (this is the power-in lead).

The wire coming from the converter with the fuse is the ground wire, I attached mine to the sheet metal of the firewall with a nut and bolt through a hole.On this same grounding spot, you can ground the NEGATIVE wire from your CB radio.

I know, the ground on the Model A is positive, but these units use a "floating ground".What does it mean?...I don't know, except that you can ground your CB Negative wire here.

On my system, I have a "green" wire (hard to tell because of cramped conditions on the firewall and my color-blindness) that attaches to the positive feed of the CB radio.

I have my converter bolted to the firewall, on the drivers' side of the car, up high. The only thing you can see of it is the studs of the bolts when the hood is open (I could have reversed the bolts, but was too lazy and not after trophies).

Have you figured out how to attach the CB in your Model A yet?Let me know what you came up with.If needed I will tell you how I did it.

I hope this explains it for you.Any questions, E-mail me back and we will work it out.
