: I have a 1930 45b Coupe Dlx that I am restoring. I bought it assembled from a fellow in the Dakotas. I have it all striped down for painting and as I removed the fenders I noticed that the chassis is resting on the rear shocks. It actually is touching the filler nut. After further analysis I noticed that the hood seems to be spaced right at the top but near the fender it is forward to the point that it over laps the radiator cowl and in the back by the chassis there is a large gap.
: It looks to me like the chassis blocks are not positioned properly, they are placed perpendicular to the frame under the chassis. It looks like they should run parallel to the frame???
: There is no webbing installed on the frame or under the chassis, should there be???

: Is there some place that I can get info on how the blocks and webbing should be installed, as well as the welting around the fenders and gas tank???

For what it is worth, I got my 1/16" correct webbing from Bratton's Antique Auto in Maryland. This was perfect!
