Northeast Hairspring

I'm rebuilding a Northeast Speedo for my '31, and co-incidentr with applying the numbers to the dial, the hairspring broke (it was pretty rusty).So the question is, since nobody sells Northeast parts, is the Waltham, or the Stewart Warner hairspring closer to the northeast for adaptation??My guess is the Waltham, but maybe somebody knows for sure.
