: I have a '28 coupe. Runs well and never overheats, however, when I : shut the car off. quite a bit of antifreeze comes out the overflow tube. : Radiator need cleaning? or? Hey Glenn, I was just working on that same problem today. The Model A radiator is not pressurized like modern radiators, and normal anti freeze unless in a pressurized radiator will foam, causing lots of overflow. I drained mine and put in plain water , and the problem was solved, but I live in California, where it doesn't get to cold. I'm told there are non foaming anti freezes that cost a little more, but I don't know what there called. If you find something that works please let me know. Parnell PKelley@aol.com |
