Grant,
It doesn't really horrify anyone.Some like to stop easier than others.Some like to put the work into making the original mechanicals work like their supposed to and others like the ease of the hydraulics.
Enough editorializing...
Dennis Cling in Arizona has the kit and all the stuff you need to convert '39 to '48 Ford juice brakes to a Model A.I don't have his address handy but will send it to you via e-mail or post it later.He also prints a "how-to" book on the conversion which is considered the best in the hobby on how to make this modification.
