I live in Vermont where our cars get stored over the winter (no kidding!).
At our monthly club meet this past weekend, someone told us of a
similar problem but with a very strange answer.Mice had gotten into
his storage area and clogged the muffler with seeds and other stuff.
Once the back pressure began to build, the car would shut down.
After 30 or 40 seconds, the pressure would ebb and he could start the
car again.While I'd bet on the gas end (the input), if that fails, don't
forget to check the output (the exhaust).
