As the other guy said, Ford would use '29 parts on '30 trucks.If they had an old part, and it fit, it got used.Another way to help date the truck is by the position of the rear window.I cannot recall the exact order, or which year they appeared in, but it can sit low to joint where to the back panels meet, sit higher up by the roof, or in the middle.

Don't know if you ran across the AA web page or not.I just skimmed over it real fast, and it looks like you won't get too much technical information from this, but considering how little information there is out on the web on the AA trucks, it is worth it.
