CLOSED CAR WINDSHIELD FRAME GASKET OR SEAL

I need help in determining if the design of seal that I have is correct for my 1930 pickup. I am wanting to install my windshield glass into the original windshield frame of my 1930 Ford 82-B Closed Cab Pickup.

An end view of this material looks like a ball(round shape) with an offset tail(approximately 1/2" long). This material I have, called a gasket/seal, came with the pickup. I am not entirely sure that I have enough material or that it is absolutely correct for this job. This black rubber seal has a label on the plastic bag that indicates it is a seal that came from Mac's Antique Auto Parts. It is part number A79500 Windshield Frame Gasket/CC. I am certain it was bought a few years ago, but it looks and feels brand new.

My questions is this: Do you place the seal only at the bottom and sides of the frame? I am desparate for directions to complete this job!

I have only enough material for the bottom and sides of the frame but none for the top portion. I do have some Glass Set Rubber(U Rubber) that I thought was only for the rear window(Mac's also)-Part Number A19003. Maybe some of this goes along the top of the windshield glass?

If you have any experience doing this, please talk me through this process!!!Help!!!!
