Long Distant Touring

I'd be interested in hearing from folks enjoy long distant touring in their Model A's.This year, we (wife+me), and two other couples enjoyed putting on over 2000 miles during our trip from Boston to Toronto and continuing to Dearborn before heading back to Boston.

We had a great time and had only trivial problems along the way, the worst was a rock kicked upo by a truck that put a small hole in our friends NOS radiator. We were able to fix it, but the hole now is covered up by a nice radiator plaque.

It's so nice to travel in the Model A since you get to enjoy so much more of the countryside and the people along the way.And you'll find that the more you use them, the more reliable they are.The only problem that we have run into is not having enough time to really get to visit some of the areas we pass through.

In the past our small group has toured to Quebec City via Maine and Vermont; Niagara Falls; Penn Dutch, Gettysburg Harpers Ferry; Nova Scotia. All great trips and only one major problem (broken piston) which we were able to fix in a few hours.

Happy Model A'ing!
