: : Just stopped in to check out your chatroom. Somehow I got stuck on this page, so disreguard all the postings please. I will tell you that I've got a '67 Galaxie XL 500 fastback. It's powered by a 390FE 4bbl, C6 and a 9" 3.25 trac. loc. rearend. The car has 91k original miles, nearly perfect stock interior and is driven daily during the non-snow months here in Michigan. We travel to alot of events such as the St. Ignas car show and the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit. I've owned many cars over the years including a Model A 2dr,which the steering went out on it during a poker run. It went into a ditch and hit a concrete culvert. I was thrown from the car but wasn't hurt too badly. Unfortunitly and can't say the same for the car. The frame was bent and the drivers side was pretty much destroyed. Well so much for bad luck. I'm really enjoying the car I have now and have learned that there is no compromise for saftey. Keep the rubber side down, Don : I'm a 16 yearold who is trying to put together a 1981 Malibu Classic 4dr That I have bought. The front end of it was smashed in because the guy hit a deer.I have bought a few toys for it on my build up.I have gotten a posi rear,a 1977 Corevette 350,4 Crager, hood scope, Holley 650 double pumper,Cyclone headers, Saterday Night Special Torke convertyer and as well as a good ignition system with Champion premium gold, and Accels Super Stock spark plug wires. I have been having a hard time find a rear driver side door for it.I plan to sand and prime the car myself and a freinds help but have somebody else pant it. : Damien Crandall |
