: I am now lucky enough to have an intrest in a 1930 Ford A I would like to find a 6volt positive to 12 volt negative converter about 5-10 amps would be nice.

: I remember such a thing about 20 years ago. any help? thanks, Rick.

They are out there but are becoming harder to find since fewer
people are making them these days. Check with Sacramento Vintage Ford 916-489-3444 for power converter # 787 for $45 each. According to their catalog convert 6 vlot positive ground to 12 volt negative ground and will put out 4 amps.

Snyder's Antique Auto Parts330-549-5313 lists one #A-10000-c for $47.50 but doesn't state output.Bratton's 800-255-1929
lists one for #A10000-X $46.00 but also doesn't state an output. I purchased mine from a dealer who gets much of his stock from Brattons and have never had a problem with it. But I only use it to run an old CB.
