You need a double venturi for it. Removing the pin and replaceing it with a single venturi may be a mistake. It
may not work well. Try and find a newer carb with a single
venturi. Look in Hemmings Motor News for and ad in the Ford parts section for A&L parts or Al Lapore. he has a small typed ad. At one time he sold replacemant Double Venturi's
