Bernard,
In addition to using the rebuilt steering arms from Brattons, I have also installed the teflon seats on the the steering arms. The wear that you have on your existing arms was caused by the metal seats rubbing on the metal balls with little or no grease to act as a lubricant. The teflon seats replace the metal cups and require little grease and will wear rather than the balls. The teflon seats could be replaced when/if needed and there should be minimal to no wear on the balls.
