: The steering tie rod connector balls are all worn out of round on the steering arms of my 1930 2 Door Sedan.Does anyone know where I can get new or remanufactured arms?
Several of our club members have tried the weld on types sold by the parts houses and have had the weld fail. I would try the ones sold by A&L Parts Specalties in Conn. I was very impressed with them They turn the ball off, leaving a shaft on which they press and weld a ball. There are some other companies also, one in NC but I like the A&L methos best and think you would have the least steering problem if it were to work loose as the stud holding the ball would not come out.
