There's etching and then there's crystal cutting and then
there's beveling and then there's engraving. You can have
a set made anywhere that does glass work if you can settle
for etching and beveling.Go toa craft shop that sells
glass supplies for stained glass type people. They'll know
people in your area that do etching. They will either offer
a beveling service or they'll know who does.Your glass
pattern comes with the brackets when you buy them.Engraving
is another matter - jewelry stores do this but they may not
be too sanguine about a big project - then again, they might
think that it's a kick.Finally, there's crystal cutting -
actually carving on glass with diamond cutting equipment.I
know of only two places doing this. One is (was) as 122
Seabright Ave.; Santa Cruz, CA95062 (Classic Glass) phone
was 408-423-2224.I haven't checked on these folks in awhile,
so I don't know if they still do it. They're very lovely.
(The windwings - not the guys)This co. also sold bud vases
and brackets.Hope they're still there.
