Ken,
:
: Wanted: Locking door handle and floor pan for 1931 Victoria.

Can't help you here but you might try either swap meets, advertising in the Model A Ford Club magazine, The Restorer, the Model A Restorers Club one, The Model A News or the Victoria Association newsletter.

: Has anyone installed the interior wood in a 31 Vicky leatherback? Please advise.

Charlie Viosca, President of the International Model A Victoria Association, a special body style group of both MAFCA and MARC wrote two articles about installing wood in his steel back Victoria. It would get you started on the leatherback. There are also several members of the Victoria Association that have leatherback cars that could help you.

: Did you install the wood in the body or did you assemble the wood and put the body over it?

Most cars I've seen done build the wood frame up first and then "wrap" the metal around the wood. The wood frame is the basis for the car. There is quite a bit of fitting that has to take place to make sure everything goes together right. This is coachbuilding at its best. Not just bolting metal together.I have a steel back and have just started on the wood.

: Would like to communicate with other Victoria owners.

I will send you an e-mail with some info on the Victoria Association
John
