Gas Additives

I've heard that there is a gasoline additive that can be added to leaded gas to help it run better in a Model A (I have a '29 Sports Coupe) and to wear better on the original soft valves.Anyone know what the additive is and where it's available?I live in Mission Viejo, CA.
