Hi Sharon. When putting the Model A back together, there's a anti-squeek web material that first goes on top of the frame. From the front corners of the body, it extends back to the rear wheel wells. The splash aprons then go on top of it.When he's ready to install the body blocks, there are little rubber pads that should be nailed to the tops of the blocks where they'll contact the body.Once you've fitted the blocks and the pads so that the body is straight on the frame and the hood fits properly and have tightened down the body bolts, the body should not squeek at all. He's lucky to have a daughter to help him out!Good luck.
