: Mitch Tank removal is not hard once you commit to do it.You will need people because the tank is awkard to handle and requires some moving back and forth to get out. From inside your car: Disconnect gas line and drain gas.Your gastank is your dashboard. Look under your dash faceplate and you will see a line of bolts and nuts, they come out, a couple of them are pretty far to each side.Remove instrument panel, disconnect wireing spedometer cable etc.on each side of the tank you will have two clamps, four in all, loosen nuts and remove them. From outside your car: Remove hood, cowl band and screws that are just aft of the hood seal. Remove two screws, one each side, that holds the rear tank cowl strip in place, they screw into side window post. The hood seal must also be removed. At this time your tank should be free, if not recheck bolts under dash. A hint:Soak all bolts and screws with a penetrating oil before attempting removal, they will be rusty. Good luck Leo
