Brian

If the cam gear is worn you can remove the timing gear covers and get a special adapter for the nut that holds on the cam gear. After removing the nut gently pry from the back and the gear should come off. At least mine did. They make over size cam gears if your crank gear is worn. If the crank gear is in bad shape it will tear-up the new cam gear quickly. I personally don't have experence removing the crank gear but understand it can be difficult. I did hear of a tip: if you saw through the crank gear between the teeth, just to the crank it may be easier to remove. But this is just rumor. Good Luck!
