There's a secret here, guys! There were two Trico vacuum wipers that fit the 30-31 Tudor, Coupe, Pickup, and some non-slantwindow sedans. Trico called the first one the RCX-1.It came out in 1930 and was used to the end of production. Later on, they came out with the KCX-1 replacement, which was made well into the 60's and 70's. --- The common rebuild kits you see for Trico wipers ONLY FITS THE KCX-1 - not the "original" wiper on the car as they were assembled by Ford.--- "How can I tell which I have?"Two pretty easy ways; the RCX-1 has two small screws holding the oval door to the inner mechanism on the front of the wiper. The KCX-1's door is pressed on and two little dimples are where the RCX's screws are.---There are a couple of rebuilders that do a good job; I've talked to Kent Jaquith at Clean Sweep, 760 Knight Hill Road, Zillah, WA 98953. ---He's really knowledgable and has a full stock of replacement parts. He can rebuild either of the wipers for you. The cost is about $50 and they come back looking like new and working as good as new (they never worked really good in 1930, either!) --- hope this helps!
