Hi JIm..The best way is to remove the tank and have it chemically cleaned out and then buy some gas tank sealer from one of the Model A parts houses like Brattons or Mikes and shlosh that around in the tank to seal any remaining residue, then reassemble the tank.That's probably not what you wanted to hear, but it is the ultimate fix.Dirt in the gas line can be very frustrating, so take the time to remove the cause.
