Side mounts for sedans were a dealer installed option.They were most commonly installed on the left (driver's) side.Oddly, pickups and mail trucks had them commonly mounted on the right side.Take your pick. I have a 160-C SW Deluxe Fordor (Blindback) and I'm going to put mine in the rear.I have a sidemount on my '31 Deluxe Tudor, and it looks great! But if you EVER have to take it off and use it, it's a pain to get it in and out.Most of the time, you have to underinflate it to get it in. Fortunately for me, I've not had to use it yet!I've learned MY lesson.
