You could remove the package tray and move the seat back against the belt rail.That'll give you 4 inches.You can take out the "riser" - or frame beneath the seat assembly and fasten the adjusting rails directly to the subframe rails.That will give you about 4 inches lower at the front but will change the angle of the seat, so you might want to devise a modified riser that's 2 inches high in front instead of 4, tapering down to nothing instead of 2 and gain 2 inches but keep your angle. You can have a custom seat bottom and back spring made that is half as "thick" or even make cushions out of foam rubber and probably gain another 2" back and down.That's about it. You can gain a little bit on the steering gear by going to a 1931 dash-mounted bracket - they give a little bit more clearance.Don't even CONSIDER buying a roadster! |
